1. When the boiler needs a large amount of blowdown, or when the liquid level control valve fails, the bypass valve should be opened to increase blowdown.
2. The opening of the top exhaust valve should be regulated to maintain the
working pressure in the fixed row.
3. Adjust the opening of the liquid level control valve so that the fixed water
level is in the middle of the water level gauge.
4. The working pressure of the safety valve must be set according to the regula-tions.
